Pranks and Pestiferousness.

There's a time and a place for revenge.

"Vengeance is mine," thus sayeth the girls.

It's Abe.  We had a bit of a payback today.  He asked with incredulity, "What in the world was that for?"

I asked him if he had a few minutes for me to run down the list.

The list includes things like:
Coming up behind us and poking us in the ribs.
"Borrowing" Conni's ear buds. For indefinite periods of time.
Belly pokes.
Tickle testing our knees.
Using the camera, then us finding 20-some pictures of nothing but road signs.
Tapping phone and Ipad screens as he walks by making you lose your place.
And so on...

Today, Abe fell asleep on the couch in his normal head-cocked-open-mouthed way.

We thought it was too good an opportunity to pass up.  A little taste of something hot and spicy was in order.  I didn't have cayenne, (bummer) so we used chili powder.  Angi did the deed.  Nothing too major - just a pinch...or two.  Right down the hole!  All over his tongue!

This was the what-in-the-world-is-going-on face he made as he woke up.  Right before he spit and wiped his tongue on the blanket.  He kept spitting and sputtering.  We were all laughing.  I gave him a cup of water.  He took one sip then threw the rest of it at me and Angi.  He missed and soaked the ceiling.

After he got over his grouch, he grinned and said, "I see a payback in your future."

I guess the war is on...but then, it's always on!

Headed to the nearest laundromat to wash a chili powder blanket!
