Apples, apples, apples...

We're still getting delicious apples here. I just got another box of pink ladies.  A half bushel for $7!  Great deal!

Time to pull out the trusty peeler/slicer again.

   I've had this slicer for probably ten or twelve years.  It's from Pampered Chef.  It makes peeling and slicing go so much faster.  I love it!


 Cored, peeled, and sliced.


I just cut them in half and lay them in the dehydrater.

 
I sprinkled this batch with cinnamon.


Looks so pretty and smells so good as it's drying.  Mmmmm.

Now, in about 24 hours, they will be ready to take off.  I'll store them in a jar for winter time snacking.  Then time to load the dehydrater again!
